Bru Haven is a conceptual café and bistró brand built from the ground up - from logo design and colour palette to merchandise, packaging, and stationery. The goal was to craft a brand identity that feels warm, premium, and deeply memorable. The organic wavy pattern, earthy tones, and custom logotype work together to position Bru Haven as a modern café with a soul. Every touchpoint - from the takeaway cup to the staff apron - carries the same visual language, creating a cohesive and immersive brand experience.

Bru Haven is a fictitious café and bistró concept. The brief required crafting a complete brand identity that appeals to a modern, experience-driven audience who value aesthetics as much as quality coffee. The identity needed to feel warm yet sophisticated - grounded in earthy tones while remaining visually distinctive and versatile across both print and digital applications.

key learnings

1. Learned that a brand is an entire look and feel, not just a single logo.
2. Deciding the brand's personality first makes design decisions much easier.
3. Learned how to translate that vibe into visuals using colors, typography, and graphic elements.
4. Maintaining brand consistency across so many different items (stationery, social media, merchandise) was challenging.
5. Designing from scratch for a fictional brief helped me understand how to interpret a concept and turn it into a visual identity.
6. Improved visual storytelling and presentation skills through branding and social media design.
